[1] Obit: 1510, November 28 Death of Gregor Patrickson, at Innerchattane. Gregor was part of a force which raided Perth in 1527.

Donald and Gregor Patriksone, They appear to be brothers and descendants of Patrick Chaoldich. Neil MacGregor says "This Gregor Patricksoune may in fact be the Gregour Patrickssoune listed in the 1488 document) Duncan Donaldsone he appears to be the son of Donald son of Patrick Chaoldich as he is listed immediately after Donald Patricksone in the document. He was murdered by James and John Burdon and Malcolm Drummond in 1549. His son Patrick married Grizelda Murray and obtained Invergeldie in Glenlednock. Patrick and James Duncanson are from Kingart in Glenlednock. James appears to be the elder brother and to have been granted a reprieve for not paying his dues for Kingart in 1514 (Exchequer rolls) after his fathers apparent death at the battle of Flodden in September 1513. Patrick marries Mariota Philipson and gained title to Dundurn in Glenlednock.

Red Book of Scotland, vol 6, p 264 - PATRICK CHAOLDICH, who is confirmed as the ancestor of the Kingarth and Innergeldie stirpes when the Chieftains of those branches subscribed a bond of assurance on 22 April 1604, to be answerable for the good behaviour of “thair haill race cum and to cum of umquhille Patrick Chaoldich.” He was witness with John Malloch to an instrument of resignation of the lands of Comrie, and others, by John Comrie of that Ilk, in favour of his son and heir John Comrie, younger of that Ilk, in December of 1495 (GD279. Uncatalogued.) and was father of,

2. Gregor Patrickson, is mentioned alongside his brothers as having been part of a force which raided Perth in 1527.
3. Duncan Patrickson, had a tack for the crown half-part of the lands of Kingarth on 4 January 1495/96 (RPS Vol. I. No. 60.) in which he was subsequently set in feu on 4 February 1509. He was one of the bailies appointed to give Sasine to James Edmonstone, brother to William Edmonstone of Duntreath, for the lands of Ardbechlorn, on 26 June 1506 (GD112/2/6/7.) and appears to have left Scotland before 15 July 1514.

Red Book of Scotland, vol 6, p 266 - DONALD PATRICKSON, who was with John MacEwen MacAllister, Captain of the Clan Gregor, and their kinsmen in a force under the leadership of Archibald Campbell of Glenlyon, James Campbell of Lawers and others which raided Perth in 1527. He was the father of Patrick Duncanson, 2nd of Kingarth, swho ucceeded his father and had a charter under the Great Seal for the half of Kingarth on 12 May 1542, (C2/28/531.)
