Daniel McG of Inverardoran."
In his 1870 will, his estate was valued at under £100

[11] John Ward has - "James b 1 Aug 1818, d Auchterarder Combination Poorhouse 26 Jan 1897 (79)., Bur Glengyle. (The last of Glengyle). "Another son James still survives and resides with his father at the Port of Menteith". (Letter from Gregor McG accountant in Glasgow dated 31Jan1869). - Red notebook 1988 p48. This James is a stong candidate for the James (of O.V.Lundin) who m Isabella Kay whose daughter Ann A(ustin?) emigrated to New Zealand. The James who d 1897 was said in the Glasgow Herald article (which has other mistakes) to have been unmarried."
